A new name, a new era for advocacy and survivor services.

ACTSS, in some form or another, has served Northwest Colorado for nearly 40 years. We’re proud to declare two exciting updates today:

  1. We’re still here, and we’re not going anywhere. Our services, while scaled into a laser-like focus, have continued through a period of transition. Now, thanks to generous funding support, we are poised to renew our energy and refortify our vital offering to the community with enhanced vision and the great gift of runway to plan, dream, and do.

  2. In service and recognition of the renewed focus and direction we’ve undertaken, ACTSS is rebranding. Going forward, the organization will operate under the name “Northwest Colorado Survivor Services.”

This new name and firmer, clearer direction for the agency affirms clearly and distinctly what we are here for, who we serve, and what our commitment is to do. We serve survivors in Northwest Colorado.

This core commitment has never changed, though it has at times been complicated by efforts to respond to opportunities as they arose that unfortunately stretched our organization too thin. This overextension, while driven by good intentions and sincere desires to serve, threatened to distract us from our primary mission and purpose, which today we reaffirm without reservation or conflict: Northwest Colorado Survivor Services advocates for, listens to, resources, and fights for the needs and supports of survivors.
