Kelsey Morford
Board Vice President
For the past four years, Kelsey Morford has proudly served as a detective with the Craig Police Department, where she investigates major crimes with a primary focus on sexual assault and domestic violence cases. These investigations require diligence, compassion, and a deep commitment to ensuring that survivors are heard, protected, and supported throughout every stage of the criminal justice process.
Through this work, Morford collaborates closely with Northwest Colorado Survivor Services, an organization that plays a critical role in supporting survivors from the moment of initial disclosure through court proceedings and beyond. From helping individuals find immediate safety to connecting them with essential resources during the investigation, their trauma-informed approach ensures survivors are empowered every step of the way. Even when a survivor makes the choice to not work with law enforcement, Northwest Colorado Survivor Services ensures that they are taken care of and have all of the resources they need to navigate forward during a difficult time. Morford firmly believes in this mission and the impact NCSS has in this community. “It is an honor to serve as Vice President on the Board of Northwest Colorado Survivor Services,” Morford said. “Their partnership and unwavering dedication are invaluable, and I would not be able to successfully complete my work without their assistance and support. NCSS provides justice, safety, and hope for survivors in Northwest Colorado.”
